The Student Success Conference brings together researchers, educators, and professional staff who are deeply committed to improving students’ transitions, achievement, retention and success. It is a wonderfully supportive community for staff who might be presenting at the Student Success Conference for the first time.

This practical, interactive workshop is designed for academic and professional staff who present at the Student Success Conference or perhaps other forums, and who teach, support, and lead student success initiatives in their institutions. Participants will explore strategies to design presentations that are purposeful, audience‑centred, and aligned to student success outcomes, while developing confidence in delivery. The workshop focuses on translating practice, evidence, and innovation into presentations that engage, persuade, and inspire action.

You will also hear from a first-time presenter from last year’s Student Success Conference, who will provide insightful tips and advice!
