Conference update – 17/03/2020

The STARS Team have been closely monitoring the development of measures to contain the spread of the COVID-19 and its potential impact on STARS 2020.

With the ever-changing developments, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the STARS 2020 Conference.

The conference has been rescheduled for 5 – 7 July 2021 at the Sofitel Brisbane Central.

We are working through the logistics for existing registrations, as well as authors who have made submissions. Further information will be sent to you in the coming days.

We realise that this is an unprecedented global event that will have a significant impact on the sector, and on students and staff, but we look forward to the opportunity to share our learnings from this experience, and its impact on our different disciplines and areas of expertise, when we come together again as a sector to reflect at STARS 2021.

Conference update – 16/03/2020

The Conference Organising Team will be meeting again this week to discuss the 2020 conference and the developing COVID 19 situation in Australia. We are anticipating making an announcement about the STARS 2020 Conference by the end of the week.

Arrangements for STARS 2020 remain on track for 6 – 8 July 2020. We are continuing to monitor the changing situation resulting from the Novel Coronavirus.
